I have a couple of Coote 2 x 48 with a 6" contact wheel that I power with a CSM3000 1hp sewing machine motors since the Coote is belt driven and it is a great little sander with this motor The CSM3000 has a 3L V Belt pulley and all I had to do is swap out the 4L sized pulley on the Coote with a pulley made for 3L belts
